Babygags was founded in San Francisco by Shelley Foster. Babygags, the concept, was hatched in 2000 and launched in 2002. They are the original irreverent funny line of apparel and accessories for wild babies. Babygags aim to meet the needs of 21st century parents who grew up on rock n' roll, were later crippled by a sterile politically correct society, and who now face the shocking joys of parenthood. They are most famous for their original favorites like the Boob Man and Milk Junkie tag lines.

The full design inspiration is centered around Trash Talking Babies, Breast Feeding Spoofs, and the innate Bleeding Heart political nature we all come with. The product line currently includes cotton layette gift sets for kids 0-6 years old, head-wear, bibs, bottles and now funny socks.
